David has helped her with music theory and suggests ways she can expand her pieces to make them more solid, complete, and musical. He inspires her every week to write with more variety, giving her challenging suggestions like 'compose a song that sounds like a mountain, a mouse, or a waterfall. Our favorite theme was "The Caveman chases a woolly mammoth," which developed into a beautiful piece."
